Cookie policy
One technical cookie, and no tracking of any kind. Here is what that means, in full.

01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in a visitor's browser and that the browser hands back on later visits. They make pages work, remember a preference or, when they are profiling cookies, follow a person from one site to the next to build an advertising profile.
The rules that apply are article 122 of the Italian privacy code (legislative decree 196/2003), which implements article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, and the cookie guidelines issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021.
02Why we do not ask for consent
Prior consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. This website sets one cookie, a technical one, and uses nothing that profiles or measures: there is nothing to consent to, so no banner appears. A banner shown anyway would be noise, not compliance.
If a non-technical cookie were ever needed, the banner would come before the cookie, with refusing made as easy as accepting, and this page would be updated to match.
03What this website does not do
It sets no profiling, advertising or remarketing cookies, and takes part in no ad network.
It uses no analytics, third-party or self-hosted: we do not count visits and we do not know who reads which page.
It embeds no videos, maps, social buttons or other people's widgets, which are the commonest way third-party cookies get into a website.
Typefaces are served from the same domain as the pages: opening the site, your browser contacts neither Google Fonts nor any other outside provider.
04Server logs, which are not cookies
Like every website reachable on the network, our hosting provider records the requests it receives: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. That data is collected by the server, not saved in your browser, and we do not use it to identify you.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are kept for a limited period, no longer than thirty days, and are not cross-referenced with form data.
05Managing cookies from your browser
Every browser lets you see the cookies stored, delete them and block new ones: the controls sit in the settings, under privacy or site data. A private browsing window also clears everything when you close it.
If you delete or block the language cookie the website still works: it simply goes back to offering your browser's language until you choose one again.
06Controller and contact
The data controller is Associazione Eudaimonia, Via Bocca di Valle 1, 65015 Montesilvano (PE), Italy. For any request about your data write to info@eudaimoniayouth.org.
Purposes, recipients, retention and your rights are set out in full in the privacy notice.
07Updates
This page changes when the website's cookies change, and it changes before the new cookie is set. The date at the top says when it was last revised.
